What You Should Know About Eye Lash Adhesive...

  • The Eye Lash Adhesive is sold separately from the Eye Lashes.
  • We offer two brands of Eye Lash Adhesive;
  •  Sherani  - Glass bottle w/application & water resistant.
  • Ardell - Plastic tube with applicator spout & waterproof.
  • The Eye Lash Adhesive goes on white and dries to a matte clear finish.
  • The Sherani Eye Lash Adhesive cannot and will not be shipped from November 15th. through June 1. The glass bottle will freeze and break and the product formulation breaks down during freezing weather.

bakersdozenYour eye lashes are housed in pink resting trays that help re-form the eye lashes when you not wearing them.  This is where they live when you are not wearing them.
  • If you have ordered ordered more than one pair of eye lashes, they will be stacked one pink tray on top of another one.

About the T-Pin and Other Notes
  • Eye lashes are fragile - so carefully life each of the outer corners with the T-Pin enclosed . Once a corner is lifted, gently peel off the resting tray - gently.
  • Bend the eye lash like you would a slinky toy (in a U-shape). This bend will recreate the natural curvature of your eye contour, creating a more secure eye lash adhesive bonding and a better fit.

Please read over the instructions once before you start your application process.  Remember, it takes practice, so please be patient. All of a sudden, everything clicks and they go on seamlessly.

1. Apply a very thin line of Lash Adhesive to the band of the eyelash.  Be careful, do not apply too much.
2. Gently blow on the adhesive or let it cure for a few minutes before applying to your eye area.
3. Looking straight into a mirror, apply the eye lash to your eye rim.
4. Push into place carefully with the blunt end of a toothpick or your finger tip.
5. Gently push the eye lash down and onto the rim, making sure there is not a visible  white-space* between the rim and the eye lash band.
  • Sometimes it helps to pinch the rim and the eye lash band together with tweezers, your fingernails or fingertips.  Please note that using tweezers could cause eye injury and/or damage* if misused.
6. Blink your eyelid gently to be sure the fit is secure and on line with the eye rim.
7. Let your application cure for five to 10 minutes before over lining the eye lash band.

REMOVING YOUR EYE LASHES...
1. Gently pull the eye lash from your eye rim, starting at the outside corner edge and pulling toward the inside corner.
2. Once the eye lash is removed, gently pick the remaining lash adhesive from the band area with tweezers or your finger tips.
3. Re-apply the eye lash to the resting form for storage until needed again. Keeping your eye lashes on the resting form will insure they maintain their correct shape and alignment.  It will also keep the eye lash hairs from becoming frizzed, tangled or clumped.
4. Cleanse your eyelid area with a liquid oil-free Eye Makeup Remover.  If you use cream, lotion or an oil base remover, your eye lashes will not adhere when applied the next time.
5. By not cleansing your eyelid area you chance getting a condition called contact dermatitis - a red, scaly, itchy and inflamed eyelid. If this does happen, see a physician immediately.

TO CLEAN YOUR EYE LASHES...
Use a liquid oil-free Eye Makeup Remover to cleanse your eye lashes.
  • You will need to clean the lashes once or twice a week.
1. Lay the eye lash over your fore finger (with lash curling around your finger).
2. Apply the Eye Makeup Remover with a cotton swab, gently working the liquid in a downward motion from the lash band down to the lash tips to remove adhesive and/or mascara build up.  DO NOT REVERSE THE DIRECTION - YOU WILL RUIN THE EYE LASH.
3. When clean, transfer the eyelash back to the resting form.  Gently push the lash around and into the form so they look like they did when you received them.
4. Let the lashes air dry on the resting form.  This will reform the lash to insure a secure and perfect fit the next time you wear them.
